Mainly Electrical is Dominic Ross and a small crew working out of Auburn. Small enough that the person who quotes your job is the person who shows up to do it.

Most of the complaints people have about electricians aren't about the wiring. They're about the call that never came back, the quote that arrived three weeks late, and the invoice that didn't match the conversation.
Mainly Electrical was set up in 2020 to be the other kind of contractor. Dominic runs the business and works the tools. Calls get returned. Quotes are written down. Scope changes get discussed before they happen, not after.

We work on everything from a single failed outlet to a full service upgrade (up to 400 amps) with a Generac standby generator behind it. A lot of our work is in older Maine housing stock, where the interesting part of the job is usually whatever the last three owners did to the wiring.

Fully insured
General liability and workers' compensation in force. Certificates of insurance available for builders, property managers and HOAs.
Generac authorized dealer
Authorized to sell, install, commission and warranty Generac standby systems — which matters when a claim needs filing.
One-year workmanship warranty
Everything we install is backed for a full year on our labour, on top of whatever warranty the equipment carries.
Permits pulled, inspections passed
We take out the permit, meet the inspector and hand you the paperwork. It matters at resale and it matters to your insurer.
